Stewards of the Landscape
View the Future (VtF) is a land trust committed to preserving and enhancing local forestlands, viewsheds, watersheds, and shorelines in the Yachats, Oregon community through collaboration with landowners and community partners.
What is a Land Trust?
A land trust is a legal arrangement where property is held by a trust, managed by a trustee for the benefit of specific beneficiaries, allowing for privacy and protection of the property owner's identity.

Conservation Easements
As a land trust in southern Lincoln County, VtF partners with Yachats area landowners to establish conservation easements. Currently, we manage five conservation easements and owning one donated property, the organization champions environmental sustainability and combats climate change through dedicated preservation efforts.
Special Projects
Our commitment to environmental conservation projects like the Yachats Ridge Project, which focuses on preserving over 1,100 acres. By collaborating with partners and landowners, we work to expand land protection efforts for the benefit of future generations
