About Us
Welcome to View the Future (VtF), a dedicated nonprofit land trust since 2004. Our goal is to preserve breathtaking land, culture, and natural beauty of the Yachats community in southern Lincoln County, Oregon. We work hand-in-hand with landowners and community groups to conserve vital landscapes, ensuring the protection of scenic views, wildlife habitats, and recreational spaces for future generations. Join us in our commitment to enhancing the local environment and cultural heritage the Yachats area.
Land Protection
As a land trust, VtF collaborates with the community and local organizations to protect vital lands and habitats through conservation easements and special projects. Currently, we safeguard 43 acres via conservation easements, while actively engaging with partners and landowners on special initiatives. One notable effort is the Yachats Ridge Project, which aims to preserve over 1,100 additional acres for the benefit of future generations. Together, we are committed to a sustainable environment for all.
